Paper Heart (a Paint Chip Poem)

No Love For Fatties invites us to join in on her Paint Chip Poetry by creating our own poem inspired by the paint chip colors of the week. I think this is a really creative and fun idea so I’m giving it a try. Check out her original post and join in too if you feel inspired.

Paint Chip Poetry

Paper Heart

My paper heart crinkled,

Beating faster fragilely,

Worn thin but not out,

Better to tear than stop,

For a taste of her,

The one in Spanish lace.

Be well,

Monty

You are more than welcome! I was gonna give it up because there was never any interest on the blog or on my actual Channillo account but if you like it, I’ll keep posting! Here at least, still not sure about on the paid site lol

I gave up on Channillo myself. I just never got traction and the site was too cumbersome for the project I was doing which was image heavy.

Oh wow! I’ve never met anyone else who was on it haha

I currently have 3 series on there. Two have been running for about 3 years and still haven’t reached a cashin point for either 😫 and now this one. I have up until the end of March scheduled for the poems. Over the summer I did Sept-Feb haha but my heart isn’t in it anymore so I think they kind of suck 🤷‍♀️

There just isn’t enough readership and with Amazon now having their own serial platform, I can’t imagine them making it work in the long run.

Don’t feel obligated to keep going on the blog just for me. I love the concept but you should only spend time on things that you find rewarding.

Haha thank you for the option! I like doing it but the obligation is Channillo, not the blog
