This is my first attempt at WordPress’ #WordPrompt project. In honor of the prompt being “GREEN” I will be recycling a poem that I wrote a bit earlier this year. Recycling is a great way to bring new life to old material and it seems pretty “on-topic” for this theme.

Well, there you have it. While the next WordPrompt is not till May, I’m posting daily in my “Seriously Silly Poetry” A to Z series so feel free to check it out. If your in the mood for more “G” in your life, I can recommend “G is for George, Curious George” — it’s not green, but it does repurpose some classics children’s characters in a fun way.
Be well,
Monty

Irish you say?? Glad to know you! How does this work naked and green versus the wearing o’ the green? (this one amused me to no end!)

Haha. So this was a “paint chip poem” originally so I used the names of the paint colors as a prompt. The way I was thinking of it was that I’m the Irish garden speaking…but I I think it’s even better to just let your imagination go wild (and green).
