Leftovers

Half-empty bottle of sticky sweet cough medicine,
Vibrant red, supposedly strawberry.

Water-glass, half-full. Next to a dusting of pink powder from the tablet I broke in half. 

A dull headache. A nagging cough. 

Enough antibodies to remember (hopefully).
