It’s Complicated
Breaking my radio along with my heart,
Untuned instrumentals angrily blared,
While she sang apologetic verses offbeat,
Unable to select a genre she mixed
rhythms and mistaken intentions
Before titling our break-up anthem:
It’s Complicated.
