This Story

Sometimes there’s much to say, when there’s nothing to say.

This Story

Ends in the beginning. Begins in the middle. Chasing it’s own tail.

With its end in sight, grabs it with a sharp bite.

Yelps with surprise. Lets go of its prize.

Then. Catches the end. Begins anew.

Do you think I’m foolish chasing this tale wag and swish?

Swimming over time’s horizon over and over like a goldfish?

Perhaps the fool is not the tail chaser, but the observer.

The reader that’s read past the end still searching for meaning?

After all, its been clearly stated that this story

Ends in the beginning. Begins in the middle. Chasing it’s own tail.

Be well,

Monty

  1. Yes, I think you are foolish, but I tend to think that certain types of fools are actually wise and cool.
